9-Hole Pitch-and-Putt Disc Golf Course

Perfect your putting in our wooded 9-hole putting course, then enjoy a post-round beverage in the beer garden.
The newly-constructed course features a 9-hole layout that utilizes 9 tee pads and 5 Innova DiscCatcher Pro baskets, all located in the wooded area behind our taproom at RTP. The course plays quick and short with a variety of challenging shots, elevation changes, and trees to play around. It presents a fun challenge for all skill levels. How many holes will you ace?
Warm-up using our practice basket located in the beer garden. From there, you can see tee pad #1 located in the corner of the grassy area. You’ll shoot at basket #1 across the service road (watch for traffic!) and follow the marked course with the yellow tee pad markers.
Once you play hole #5, you will be ready for the longest most narrow fairway of the course. The fairway for hole #6 threads behind our pollinator garden, where you’ll throw back into the same basket as hole #1. Holes #7-9 utilize the same baskets you threw into for holes 2, 3, and 5. Again, just look for the numbered yellow tee pads, as you’ll be approaching each basket from a unique angle for these holes.
The course is open the same hours as our taproom. We just ask that you please follow a few simple rules to protect everyones safety and be sure we are complying with all of our local ABC laws:
Please park in the main/front parking lot. The parking in the rear of the building is only for staff and delivereis. You will access the course by walking through the Glass Jug taproom. Feel free to refill your water bottle or purchase some beverages while you’re here.
No outside alcohol is allowed on the course. If you want to enjoy an alcoholic beverage before/after your round, you must purchase it from The Glass Jug.
Don’t bring your glassware with you on the course. Leave it in the beer garden. It’s a putting course, so you’ll be back for another sip every few holes!
A few tips to help you master the course:
All you need is your putter. Leave the driver in your bag.
Each hole is approximately 35-75 feet in distance.
Asphalt is considered out of bounds. Drop to the nearest ground with a 1-stroke penalty. This will likely only come into play on holes #1, 5, 6, and possibly 9.
Tee pads are yellow markers with black numbers. The orange markers are for our Monday evening league play which utilizes a slightly different course layout with temporary baskets.
Loaner discs are available to borrow from the taproom, and a variety of custom stamped Innova and Dynamic Discs are available for purchase.
Monday Night League Play
On Mondays at 6:30 PM, from April-October, join us for weekly random doubles tournaments with an expanded 9-hole putting course that adds 4 temporary baskets so no baskets are shared, allowing for smoother play with a full card.
All skill levels are welcome, and teams are assigned randomly. Tournament-style play guarantees at least 27 holes for all participants.
Cost is $6 to play, and the top teams split the pot each week, with additional prizes for season-long winners.
