The Glass Jug is always accepting applications for bartenders for our fast-paced brewery taproom, bottle shop, and beer garden!
The Glass Jug started as a bottle shop in South Durham, and we moved into a new, larger space in the same shopping center in February 2018. Our new space is complete with a brewery and beer garden. We are proud to be a high traffic, popular spot, and we're always looking for new team members who are passionate about building community in South Durham and are willing to work hard and move fast.
Evening and weekend availability is required for most positions. All staff must be able to arrive at work no later than 5pm for weekday shifts. (So, if you have a day job and can’t get here until after 5, we’re sorry, but this is not a fit for you.) Being a bartender at The Glass Jug Beer Lab offers a great opportunity to expand your beer knowledge and grow your bartending expertise while getting to know the local beer-loving community. We pride ourselves on our commitment to help every member of our team grow in their areas of interest. Though it is not required, our bartenders are encouraged to start or lead programs, and they are often able to contribute via event leadership, education initiatives, club participation, etc.
