9/10 Thurs - Counter Currant 12th Anniversary sour release, draft and bottle.
This barrel-aged mixed-culture dark sour was brewed in August of 2025, undergoing a primary fermentation in stainless before being transferred into neutral oak barrels with our house mixed-culture, where it rested for 12 months. We then added pureed black currants directly into the barrels to kick off a tertiary fermentation on the fruit. The beer from the barrels was then blended together and packaged just in time for our 12th anniversary. It pours a deep brown with ruby highlights, bringing a complex, deep aroma and flavor layered from fruity to funky. It develops further as it warms, with each sip bringing more nuance to the palate. A beer to be enjoyed slowly, but pick up a bottle quickly, as this limited-release won’t be around for long.

Local legends The Phoebes are back in the beer garden as part of our Beer Garden Concert Series - this time at our Friday Night Edition. You know they'll be bringing the perfect mix of rock & blues with soulful vocals, screaming guitars, and a driving rhythm section to the Jug!
Taqueria Ahualempan Food truck will be serving tasty food from 5-8pm so come early, grab a cold bev from inside, and find a seat for some of the best rock n roll out there!
