Since 2014, The Glass Jug Beer Lab has been a gathering place for people interested in the newest craft beers. With the exploding craft beverage scene and the push into categories beyond beer, The Jug has simultaneously remained one of the top destinations for craft beer in the Triangle, while expanding its selection into all of the beverages customers are looking for.
In 2022, The Jug began stocking a selection of hemp-infused CBD and THC beverages. That category has since grown into a major section of the retail store, where The Glass Jug boasts an expansive selection and a staff knowledgeable in the wide variety of products.
Now, in 2026, The Glass Jug is once again stepping into a new product category - cocktails.
In addition to 23 draft beers, and a curated selection of premium wines, craft cider, ginger beer, and hard seltzer, The Jug has added a list of pre-mixed canned cocktails to the menu for on-site enjoyment, in addition to a rotating frozen cocktail - starting with a frozen margarita, of course.
Each hand-selected offering is served over ice with a garnish to enhance the experience. While the bartenders are not currently mixing cocktails to order, they are confidant in the quality of the options that have been added to the menu, including locally-made cocktails from Durham Distillery, TK Mulligan (Raleigh), and End of Days (Wilmington, NC).
“Our team did a great job curating this list,” said Co-Owner, Chris Creech. “We got to taste through a variety of options and really settled on a menu that is super high-quality and has a little something for everyone.”
“We also love that we are able to support and showcase some amazing products that are being made here in NC, just like we’ve done with craft beer since 20214,” Creech added.
Canned cocktails cannot currently be purchased to-go. All spirit-based drinks must be enjoyed on-site, or purchased from the local ABC store.
